Mastermind – Classic App Reviews

I absolutely love this game- good way to while away time without wasting it. App is well designed and easy to use. But... the achievements area needs work- doesnt load, isnt accurate, says its my first game when its probably my 1038.

Works reliably and does what you expect. One complaint is that the empty holes feature doesnt ever seem to generate puzzles with empty holes. I paid extra for that feature. The base game is fine though.

I really want to play this game, but perhaps because of the formatting for an iPhone 5 sized screen, the check combination button is not showing in the bottom right corner of my iPhone 4S, so I cannot progress beyond my first guess or even see if it is correct. Please fix this and I will be happy to come back and give this a 5 star rating!

Im very disappointed in this game and it takes a lot for me to get disappointed. If I could give it 0 starts I would.

Did not work at all.

I was looking forward to playing this game.. However, you cant see the "check" button. Would like to play if you get this bug fixed...

First thing that youll notice is it seems to load twice. The splash screen comes up, flashes then comes up again. When you press play youre presented with a blank wooden board. No color pegs to choose from. If you press the Mastermind button the game happily tells you youve lost and asks you to try again. Try again and now you get color pegs to choose from. Hurray! I can play now! The controls are very clunky and hard to hit on an iPhone. You press which spot you want the peg in then press the color. You cant drag them. You can press a spot again to remove a color though if you make an error. But heres the funny part... Youll never know if you made an error! The game rules state that after you choose your four colors you then hit the check mark button to submit your guess. Its not even on the playfield! There is no check mark button anywhere. I even tried a few times to press where the rules said it was supposed to be. Nada. I can see the potential here but this is an Alpha build at best! How this got onto the iTunes Store is beyond me.

I downloaded, the first time its blank so u have to lose to move on. Then you finally get color to show up and no check mark. You have to force close to start all over again, try to get it right before putting on market.

Duh, cant use the check button so this doesnt even work. How did this pass quality control? Get an update fast ok?

The 1.1 update was major, it should have been 2.0. Anyways, this update helped a lot and I wish multiplayer support would be add once we get more players.
